Abstrakt: Příspěvek se věnuje aktuálnímu tématu využití tabletů ve výuce zeměpisu. V první části článku jsou diskutovány širší rámce celé problematiky, a to jak pedagogické (vývoj od e-learningu, přes m-learning k u-learningu), tak institucionální (podpora zavádění moderních technologií do výuky ze strany ministerstva školství). Druhá část textu je spíše aplikačního rázu. Představena jsou kritéria výběru vhodných aplikací do výuky, závěrem je popsáno několik ukázek využití ve výuce zeměpisu.

Abstract (EN): Tablets in Geography Instruction: A Good Decision? This article explores a contemporary issue: use of tablets in geography classrooms. The first section discusses the broader context of the issue, both pedagogical (the transition from e-learning to m-learning to u-learning) as well as institutional (government support for the implementation of modern technologies in instruction). The second section focuses more on application, presenting criteria for selecting appropriate applications for instruction. The conclusion describes a number of use cases from geography instruction.
