Abstrakt: Článek se zabývá současnou politickou situací v Arktidě, která je charakterizována celosvětovým nárůstem zájmu o tento odlehlý region. Přes vzrůstající napětí se snaží všechny arktické státy spolupracovat. Největšími výzvami budoucnosti v Arktidě tak zůstávají globální klimatická změna, těžba nerostných surovin a otevírání nových námořních tras.

Abstract (EN): Who owns the Arctic? The article deals with the current political situation in the Arctic, which is characterized by the world-widely increased interest in this remote region. Despite the growing tensions, the Arctic states seek to cooperate. Still, global climate change, extraction of natural resources and opening of the new sea routes remain the biggest future challenges in the Arctic.
