Abstrakt: Příspěvek nabízí na příkladu města Brna dva konkrétní náměty pro výuku geografie odhalující měnící se svět kolem nás. Prvním je didaktická vycházka, která žáky provede po stopách textilního průmyslu od 19. století do současnosti. Druhý námět řeší komplexně situaci fotbalového stadionu Za Lužánkami, kdy žáci posuzují řadu faktorů, které mohou ovlivnit jeho budoucí rekonstrukci.

Abstract (EN): Brno as a living textbook of geography. The paper offers, on the example of the city of Brno, two specific topics for teaching geography revealing the changing world around us. The first is a didactic walk that will lead students in the footsteps of the textile industry from the 19th century to the present. The second topic comprehensively addresses the situation of the Za Lužánkami football stadium, where students assess some factors that may affect its future reconstruction.
