Abstrakt: Článek popisuje stručnou historii měření času. Vysvětluje rozdíl mezi délkou hvězdného dne a slunečního dne a dává do souvislostí jevy pozorované v období kolem zimního slunovratu.

Abstract (EN): Measurement of solar time. The article describes a brief history of time measurement. It explains the difference between the length of the sidereal day and solar day and puts into context the phenomena observed around the winter solstice.
