Abstrakt: Jistě jste se v životě setkali s žákem, o němž byste řekli: „To je talent! Ten je nadaný!“ Čím byl tento žák výjimečný a jak se odlišoval od ostatních? Každý z nás chápe tento pojem odlišně, a nejspíš proto se stává, že někteří nedokážou takového žáka správně rozpoznat. S ohledem na specifické potřeby nadaných je však nezbytné, abychom se je naučili identifikovat a rozvíjet jejich talent.
Abstract (EN): How to Recognize Gifted (Geography) Students. This article explores issues surrounding gifted pupils/students, with an emphasis on giftedne- ss in geography. It describes characteristic manifestations of gifted students as well as certain mistaken notions regarding the so-called gifted, on the basis of a literature analysis and directed interviews with geography teachers. In conclusion, it presents a profile of a gifted geography pupil/student.
