Abstract (EN): Geographical Olympiad – Topical Areas of Knowledge and Skills Tested. The objective of this article is to present information concerning the themes of topical areas for the Geographical Olympiad competition. The topical areas test various types of knowledge and skills. The article provides examples of contest tasks focused on skills for using atlases and acquiring information from graphs.
