Abstrakt: Mezi důležitá témata ve výuce zeměpisu patří bezesporu zeměpisné souřadnice. V současné době je možné v hodinách zeměpisu využívat moderní geoinformační technologie, jako například přijímače GPS nebo mapové portály na internetu. V tomto příspěvku bude popsáno několik výukových aktivit, které používáme při výuce tématu zeměpisné souřadnice na našem gymnáziu.
Abstract (EN): Geographic Coordinates in Education. Geographic coordinates are, without a doubt, an important topic in geographic education. At present, we can use modern geographic information technologies, such as GPS receivers or web-based map portals, in geography lessons. This article describes several instructional activities that focus on geographic coordinates for secondary school students. These activities include mapping places of residence using a GPS receiver, geocaching tasks, drawing with GPS in the landscape and determining the geographic coordinates of edge points in a selected region (e.g. a continent or country) using Google Earth.
