Abstrakt: Cestovní ruch je stále významnějším společenským a ekonomickým fenoménem. Je součástí našeho životního stylu, má i nemalé ekonomické dopady. Jak se dívají na cestovní ruch geografové? Jaké problémy studují? A jaké metody využívají? To jsou otázky, na které chce odpovědět tento krátký příspěvek.
Abstract (EN): Geographers’ Perspectives on Tourism. The purpose of this article is to introduce the general public to the geography of tourism. After defining some general areas of interest to tourism geography, the authors focus on select approaches, including geographical analysis of the location and implementation requirements of tourism and their functional-spatial relationships.
