Abstrakt: První pravidelná letecká linka byla otevřena mezi Francií a Anglií v roce 1919. Od té doby, a zejména od 70. let 20. století prochází letecká doprava dynamickým vývojem. Intenzivní letecká doprava má rostoucí vliv na kvalitu ovzduší a životního prostředí. Jaké jsou důvody růstu leteckého odvětví v posledních letech? A jak dopady na životní prostředí mírnit, aby se letecká doprava stala udržitelnou?
Abstract (EN): Effects of the Deregulation of Air Transportation: The deregulation of the aviation industry caused substantial changes in air transport, including increased traffic intensity and correspondingly stronger environmental impacts on the atmosphere. This article describes differences between low-cost carriers and full-service carriers, the integration of various carriers into alliances and spatial impacts on the organization of air traffic. The conclusion presents a brief overview of environmental impacts of air transport.
